Your sponsorship will not only improve the lives of children throughout central Ohio but will benefit your organization as well.
Sponsor a Match
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio aims to serve thousands of children each year and relies on the generosity of individuals and businesses, trusts and foundations to support our efforts.
The average annual cost of a match is $1,250. When you sponsor one or more matches,
you can count on being appreciated and kept up to date on the difference you are making.
In appreciation of your Sponsor a Match gift, Big Brothers Big Sisters will:
- List your name in our annual report to the community
- Mail you quarterly updates on the agency
- Send you an agency logo item
- Invite you to all events
Why does it cost $1,250 per match?
Supervision and Support for all match participants
Once a match is made, Big Brothers Big Sisters professional staff maintains a relationship with all participants in order to supervise and support the match. The program staff typically interacts with the match on a monthly basis, by telephone or in person.
The agency also organizes match activities to create a time for all volunteers and children to meet and converse.
The match supervision and support services are one of the most important aspects of the Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring model.
Program Assessment and Evaluation
Big Brothers Big Sisters is committed to tracking the progress of each child and reporting to the community on the success of the program. The pre-assessment and evaluation process is conducted through a series of ongoing annual surveys and interviews.
The evaluation process was created by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and endorsed by the Search Institute.
