BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF SPRINGFIELD - MADISON, CHAMPAIGN AND CLARK COUNTIES
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Springfield serves children in Madison, Champaign and Clark Counties through our one-to-one Community-based Mentoring program. The agency has also partnered with Springfield City Schools and the Springfield Rotary Club to provide a School-based Mentoring program at Lincoln Elementary, 4th-6th grades. This program requires a three-year commitment from volunteers.
Each November, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Springfield holds its annual fundraiser, Bowl For Kids' Sake, and all the revenues raised by this event directly help children in Madison, Champaign and Clark counties. Companies, individuals and volunteers form teams, solicit sponsors and bowl to raise money to support the work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Springfield throughout our community. The Saturday evening bowling event is a real party atmosphere while the Sunday event is geared more for the family. Bowl For Kids' Sake proves fundraising truly can be 'FUN!"
